The Like button lets a user share your content with friends on Facebook. When the user clicks the Like button on your site, a story appears in the user's friends' News Feed with a link back to your website.
When your Web page represents a real-world entity, things like movies, sports teams, celebrities, and restaurants, use the Open Graph protocol to specify information about the entity. If you include Open Graph tags on your Web page, your page becomes equivalent to a Facebook page.
This means when a user clicks a Like button on your page, a connection is made between your page and the user. Your page will appear in the "Likes and Interests" section of the user's profile, and you have the ability to publish updates to the user. Your page will show up in same places that Facebook pages show up around the site (e.g. search), and you can target ads to people who like your content.
There are two Like button implementations: XFBML and Iframe. The XFBML version is more versatile, but requires use of the JavaScript SDK. The XFBML dynamically re-sizes its height according to whether there are profile pictures to display, gives you the ability (through the Javascript library) to listen for like events so that you know in real time when a user clicks the Like button, and it always gives the user the ability to add an optional comment to the like. Let’s talk about blogs and your website and how your SN accounts are integrated with it. Integrating your SN accounts into the website is a must! You have to sign up with Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin (And really spend some time developing your Linkedin account, which most people do not do) and setting up a blog to tie it all together. This is very, very important. Why? If you have a new business or website how to do you get found or discovered? One of my favorite expressions is "Having a website is like opening a store in the Everglades. Who’s going to find you or how do you get discovered?” We are all interested in having our website be the main vehicle for generating dollars. But how do you drive traffic to your website? And by traffic I don’t mean “hits”, but “page views”. Big difference! I want visitors to not only click on my website pages, but to look at the content as well. All my blogs are tied into my SN accounts. When I do a post it is automatically sent to my SN Accounts. To do this I use http://tweetfeed.com/ Sign up today it’s free!

Finally, I talked to you, briefly, about the importance of signing up with www.cj.com, www.clickbank.com, and the Google Affiliate Network Why? Take a look at all my blogs and websites. What do you see on one side of the blogs? Advertisements, banners and promos. So when you do a post on your blog, the post is sent to the SN accounts which then directs the visitor back to your blog or websites and voila! There are your banner ads (And the banners have to be pertinent to your business.) You should have this philosophy “If a visitor click onto my site, doesn’t see anything interesting on my site and is ready to hit the “back” button, but see’s a banner ad that they are interested in and click on it and buys something, your get paid even though they are leaving your site.” Does that make sense? Why not get paid when they leave your site?

Oops! One more thing. Sign up for Google Webmaster http://google.com/webmaster. This is necessary to start your blog (and there are no limitations on how may blogs you can have) There is a plethora of other webmaster tools you can use, once you sign up, but that will be topic for another time.

One man's blog can be a source of immense entertainment and income at the same time. The question arises here "Why have a blog? Why not a website? Is the website any better than a blog or the other way round?" To answer this question let's look and compare a few important aspects of each.

Buy a second monitor and attached it the second monitor port on your desktop computer. If you do not have a 2nd monitor port
they are inexpensive to add and easy to install. For laptop user simply attach the second monitor to the port provided with your laptop

Once the 2nd monitor is attached you can move your mouse between each screen and have multiple windows with different programs on each screen.
This makes is easier to copy and paste (just copy the content on one monitor, slide the mouse to the second screen and paste. This procedure will simply your computer experience and make it much more enjoyable.

One more thing. The direction that the mouse will move from one screen to the other will be determined by how you have your display set up. After the second monitor is
installed go the control panel (Windows XP and Vista editions. Not sure about Windows 7 or Macs, but I'm sure it works the same way) and click on display and
settings for XP or hold down the right mouse button in Vista, click on personalize and then the display settings. Find the button that says "identify" for WP or indentify monitors on Vista and click on it. You will see a large #1 on one screen and large #2 on the second one. When you click on each number from the setting menu
it will have a check mark beside the words "use this device as the primary monitor". If you want the other screen to be the primary monitor then check that box.

To control the direction the mouse moves from one screen to the other you have to drag the #1 monitor Icon on top of the #2 and they will switch places. For me, I prefer to work from left to right and I want my left screen to be the primary monitor so my set up looks like this:
